Federal and state government rebates apply to the replacement of existing gas hot water systems replaced at any permanent place of residence. 

Tenants may also apply so long as they have permission from their landlord.

New homes and businesses do not qualify for State or Federal rebates however point of sale discounts for Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) will still apply.
