Replacement of electric systems:

The Australian Government’s Solar Hot Water $1000 after sale rebate applies to the replacement of electric boosted hot water systems with a gas or electric boosted solar hot water systems. A rebate of $600 applies to the installation of heat pumps.

EKO ENERGY will assist the customer to apply for the Federal rebates following installation. Additional state incentives apply to the replacement of electrical systems in states including Victoria and NSW.

Replacement of gas systems:

In many states, rebates and incentives apply to the changeover of gas hot water systems. Depending on where you live and the performance of your system the value of these incentives may range from $400- $1600. State rebates are offered to you as a point of sale discount.

Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs):

RECs apply to the direct replacement of existing gas or electric hot water systems throughout Australia. Under the regulation Australia is divided into 4 climatic zones. The number of RECs awarded, and hence value of your point of sale discount, depends on the tested performance of your system within your zone.  RECs are generally assigned to Rezeko in return for a point of sale discount.
