Federal government purchasing incentives2
Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and Solar Credits offered by the federal government can reduce the total cost of installing a solar system. Neither is means or income tested.
As a residential home owner, small-business owner or community organisation, you’re eligible to claim Solar Credits for installation at your home and investment properties, so long as you haven’t already claimed under the old Australian Greenhouse Office rebate. (If you did and want to add to your existing system, speak to one of our renewable energy consultants for help.)
The number of STCs you’ll be awarded for going solar depend on how well the system you’re buying has been proven to perform within your climatic zone. (Australia is divided into four zones.) Usually, you’ll assign these STCs to EKO Energy in return for a discount on the purchase of your solar system.
| What are my STCs worth for my installation?
The table below identifies the Property Holders STCs entitlements for various sized solar photo voltaic power system - STCs calculated at $25/STC. Please note the STCs values are subject to change |
