Henley Homes Zero Emissions House

EKO Energy was chosen by Henley Homes as the preferred supplier of a 6kW grid-connect, solar power system for the Zero Emissions House in Laurimar, Victoria. The Zero Emissions House, designed by the CSIRO, was built by Delfin-Lend Lease and the Henley Property Group and is the first of it's kind in Australia. The purpose of the house is to fit the lifestyle of a typical middle income family living in the Australian climate. The Zero Emissions House features an 8 star energy rating and showcases the latest in renewable energy technologies. The systems within the house were designed to produce enough electricity to supply all operating needs of the household so that its total carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gas emissions is zero.
